This church has a unique and thoughtful design.  The entire property has great charm.  The building is made of cut stone with walls 18 inches thick. The roof truss design is interesting, being both decorative and functional.  The main floor is inclined for better viewing.  There is a wind pipe organ and a chiming clock which were both damaged by water during the 2004 hurricane Ivan.

Location is in Manchester, on route to Christiana, west side of road a mile south of Waldenston.  Walderston was named in honor of the founder, designer and builder of the Moravian Church in Mizpah, Rev. Heinrich Walder. The clock was built in memory of Rev. Walder.  There is a photo of Rev. Walder and another of Rev. Walder and his wife.

The church was built betweeen 1870 and 1895, a period of 25 years.  There is an inscription that says “Redeeming the Time”.  N 18.12104°  W077.48299°, elevation 729 meters.
